A working visit of the Management of the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) to Kenya took place from 23 through 25 July 2019, followed by a visit to South Africa from 26 through 29 July 2019
ISTC Supports Nazarbayev University's Second International Conference ECL2019: “Exploring the Energetic Universe 2019”
The initiators and organizers of the international conference were Energetic Cosmos Laboratory, Office of the Provost of the Nazarbayev University with the support of the International Science and Technology Center.
Based on their Memorandum of Cooperation, the International Science and Technology Center and Narikbayev KAZGUU University in Nur Sultan are engaged in joint actions in line with ISTC Targeted Initiative on ‘Export Controls of Dual-Use Materials and Technologies in Central Asia’ funded by the European Commission.
The ISTC jointly with STCU prepare the next event for members of relevant research communities under the ISTC/STCU - implemented EU-funded Targeted Initiative on CBRN Export Control on Dual Use Materials and Technologies in Central Asia, covering the following countries: Armenia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

The International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) is an intergovernmental organization connecting scientists from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia with their peers and research organizations in the EU, Japan, Republic of Korea, Norway and the United States.
ISTC facilitates international science projects and assists the global scientific and business community to source and engage with CIS and Georgian institutes that develop or possess an excellence of scientific know-how.
