“Deepening the understanding of EU sanctions and enhancing cooperation to reduce sanctions circumvention” seminar will go online  on July 1, 2025

The European Union is organizing a full-day virtual training seminar on EU sanctions, scheduled to take place online on 1 July 2025. The seminar will be held in the following time zone: ICT (Indochina Time) UTC/GMT +7 hours (Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand). The primary aim of the seminar is to raise awareness of EU sanctions and their application, and to cooperate to counter possible circumvention of these measures.

The EU team of trainers is composed of sanctions experts from the European Commission, representatives from EU Member States as well as experts from the EU private sector (compliance divisions of major banks, exports and transportation/logistics companies). The seminar is free of charge and targeted to private sector operators interested in improving their awareness of EU sanctions. Stakeholders who would like to participate in the seminar can register using the following link. The link to the seminar platform will be provided to registered participants one day ahead of the event. The seminar language will be English.
