Project Funding Reaches 814.5 Million USD

In 2008, ISTC has funded 26.2 million $ for civilian science projects in Russia, the CIS and Georgia, thus reaching 814.5 million USD since the beginning of its activities in 1994.

The Governing Board of the International Science and Technology Center held its 47th Meeting in Moscow

Representatives of various ISTC Parties attended the meeting, including Canada, the European Union, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, United States of America, Norway, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Republic of Tajikistan. Report by US Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism

On 3 December, the US 'Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism' released its findings on preventing nuclear and biological terrorism threats.
