New leadership in ISTC’s Tajikistan Office
Congratulations to Azizakhon Haydarova, who is the new Office Head in ISTC’s Tajikistan office in Dushanbe. Ms. Haydarova brings almost a decade of service to the ISTC Dushanbe office in her previous post as a Deputy Manager and working in partnership with the outgoing Head Mukhabatsho Khikmatov. During her time as a Deputy Manager, Ms. Haydarova participated in the U.S. State Department’s TechWomen program in the San Francisco Bay Area last year. Azizakhon is an attorney and studied at the Tajik State National University Faculty of Law.
Mr. Khikmatov served the ISTC for 20 years since Tajikistan joined ISTC and we are grateful for his service to our scientific research. Mr. Khikmatov stays as an Advisor to ISTC Tajikistan Branch Office. He made to ISTC huge contribution, strengthening relationship with the Tajik scientists and Ms. Haydarova took over his experience, assuming her new job responsibilities on 1 July 2023.
