ISTC participated in the conference "Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security: Progress, Challenges & Ways Forward"
4-6 August 2023 marked the International Scientific and Practical Conference on "Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety and Security: Progress, Challenges & Ways Forward", organised by CBRN in Guliston of the Sughd region and dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety & Security Agency of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
There was held a plenary session. Mukhabatsho Hikmatov, ISTC Tajikistan Governing Board Member and ISTC Tajikistan Advisor and Tamara Zhunussova, ISTC Norway Governing Board Member and a Radiation Expert from the Norwegian Radiation Protection Authority, also participated in this event.
The delegation also traveled to Adrasmon on a working visit to inspect one of the uranium legacy sites.
