ISTC participated in the 38th Meeting of the Berlin Eurasian Club in Brussels, Belgium

On 19 October 2023 David Cleave, ISTC Executive Director and Rashitdin Kokenov, ISTC Deputy Executive Director attended the 38th Meeting of the Berlin Eurasian Club in Brussels, Belgium and met with many of the representatives from Kazakhstan.

The event was devoted to the theme "Further improvement of the business and citizens environment in the framework of the implementation of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between the EU and Kazakhstan".

There were many high level Kazakhstan representatives participating in the conference including Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium, Margulan Baimukhan, as well as high level Kazakh Embassy representatives from the Kazakhstan Embassy in Berlin.

The were two panel sessions held where representatives of the Kazakhstani government and EU took place. The sessions were dedicated to enhanced partnership and cooperation agreement as a basis for economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU, also there were discussions about bringing business and people together - improving the framework conditions for business and humanitarian contacts.
