Workshop on Strong Motions Database Formation and Unified Seismic Bulletin for Central Asia

On May, 28-30, 2019 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the workshop has been taken place within the frame of ISTC project KR#2398.  During this workshop the results for five past quarters were considered and discussed. Namely the joint databases of strong motions and active faults of Central Asia (CA) have been compiled. It was done at first time for this region. Also the problems and status of compilation of unified seismic bulletin and catalogue of Central Asia, as well as a database of CA seismic stations parameters were considered and discussed.  Besides, the problems of CA seismic events re-location and moment magnitude definition were considered, as well as the future activity for next year of project implementation was discussed and defined.
