Tajikistan researcher presented a progress in alloy manufacturing in Tokyo

Alloys made of aluminum and iron (Al-Fe alloys) are widely used from household appliances to aircraft. Further improvement of mechanical and vibration damping properties has been required. Dr. Tatyana Umarova (the Branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University in Dushanbe) is proposing the use of rare earth metal (Ytterbium and others) as additives to Al-Fe alloys for this improvement. She presented effects of the additives on mechanical properties in the 5th International Conference on Material Science and Engineering Technology (ICMSET 2016) (October 29-31, 2016, Tokyo, http://www.icmset.com/ ) with a range of  ISTC support.

ICMSET 2016 gathered leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. The ICMSET conference is an international forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Material Science and Engineering Technology.
