On 13 and 14 July 2023, the European Union is organising a training workshop in Türkiye on EU sanctions. The primary aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of EU sanctions and their application, and to facilitate cooperation to counter possible circumvention of these measures.

The workshop will be organised in Istanbul (Sofitel Istanbul Taksim Hotel). Working languages will be English and Turkish.

The workshop is addressed to Turkish private operators who are interested in improving their awareness of EU sanctions. The workshop will coincide with a visit of EU Sanctions Envoy David O’Sullivan to Türkiye.

Please be aware that due to high level of interest for the meeting, in-person participation is limited to one person per company. However, additional interested representatives can participate on-line. The deadline for registrations is 5 July 2023.Both in-person and on-line participation will be confirmed by email after that date. Please note that only participants who have registered and received the confirmation email will be allowed to enter the venue of the seminar or connect on-line.
