Project summary

Modification of the fission neutron spectrometer for measurement of Cm-246 (fission fragment and neutron detectors, electronics, computer programs). Designing the set-up for measurements of Cm-244. Precise measurements of the spontaneous fission neutron spectra of Cm-244 and Cm-246 in the energy range from 0.1 MeV to 15 MeV with the accuracy of 1–2%.

The fission neutron spectra will be measured by the time-of-flight method relative to the international standard.

The Project will make it possible to use the specialists participated, facilities and equip-ment for peaceful purposes.
