Project summary

This development is connected with the proposal of principally new apparatus-technology implementation of the process of antibiotic production. Development of the facility excluding the stage of cultu-ral liquid filtration allow to perform sorption directly from non-filtrated cultural liquid. Exclusion of the filtration stage and sorption extraction of on antibiotic directly from cultural liquid re-sult in product output increase, considerable reduction of working areas (due to the filtrating equipment exclusion), power, labour and time expenditures. The process efficiency increases due to the reduc-tion of sorption time in ion-exchange columns of a new design. The ma-in element in the apparatus scheme (in the facility) is a sorpti-on-washing apparatus, where the process of sorbent saturation with the desired product (or its extraction from cultural liquid) takes place with the subsequent washing of sorbent from residues of micelia and other solid components of nutrient medium.

A sorption-washing apparatus is a pulsation column.The feature of the column is the using of the special packing that makes the pulsatiefoiymn to move in a spiral, changing its direction. SRC RF VNIINM is organization the most authoritative in Russia in the field of development and researches of a pulsation equipment. The development of a pulsation equipment of SRC RF VNIINM are protected more than 150 copyright certificates, the researches in this area are described in set of the scientific articles and 10 books. We are was developed by technique of account and scaling of sorption pulsation columns with fluidized bed of ion exchanger. On these accounts it is possible to conduct designing of large-scale plants for reception of antibiotics by results of tests of pilot installation.

The execution of a project allows to make ecological pure antibi-otic production.

During the project will have to develop, design, make and test experimental facility for non-filtrated sorption of antibiotics. On the facility will have to definite operation modes of sorption for wi-de property range of cultural liquid. The operation modes of the facility have found during project execution will allow practically completely to extract biologically active substances from non-filtrated cultural liquid (90-92 %) for a short period (4-6 hours) without sorbent loss. The facility being de-veloped will allow to wash sorbent from micelia residies (cells), cul-tural liquid residues, and to remove of associate related impurities (minor components) and stained impurities, desorption of biological object and sorbent regeneration. Depending on activity of cultural li-quid productivity of pilot installation will make about 300 g/day on gentamycin, or 4000 g/day on streptomycin.The results of project execution have commercial and technical importance for ecological pure antibiotic production. The same works are carrying out by USA specialists.
