Project summaryObjectives of the project:
— elaboration of effective algorithms and programs of optimal adaptive two- and three-dimensional grid generation;
— creating quality criteria and tests;
— investigations of approximate propetries and reliability of constructed grids for numerical fluid dynamics simulations;
— elaboration of high-accuracy methods of solving the fluid dynamics problems with using the adaptive and moving grids, utilization of these methods for solving the aerodynamical, hydrodynamical, electrodynamical, ecological, ocean and athmosphere circulation and other problems;
— development of methods, combining the optimal adaptive grids and analytical constructions to select zones of percularities regions and to evaluate the solution in such zones.
This project will allow to continue investigations which results can be used as reliable tools at mathematical simulation of physical problems of extremly importance. This can be reached by the creation of computational methodologies for actual physical problems and applying the grids in such technologies.
