Project summaryTo select the most optimum design for turbomachine shaft gas seal, within the framework of Project 2395p a multipurpose test facility was designed, which would make it possible to test a production sample of seal NF951 for shaft Ø230mm manufactured and delivered to OKBM by the Japanese company EKK, and basic seal design for shaft up to Ø450mm. Within the framework of Project 2395.2p supporting structures of the test facilities and running part were manufactured for testing of the seals.
The scope of work, which OKBM proposes to perform within this Project, will include:
- completion of the manufacture of multipurpose test facility for gas seals;
- tests of seal NF 951;
- processing of the results and issuance of a report.
Collaboration with all foreign partners (collaborators) will be carried out in the form of the exchange of scientific and technical information and discussion of the activities performed.
