Project summary

Project objective is to work out methodological, recommendations and normative principals of parameters optimum choice of rubber-metal thin layered bearings for the buildings and constructions seismic isolation taking into account regional conditions of Kyrgyz Republic.

Using the seismic protection active systems of the buildings and constructions, as a rule bring to the decrease of the horizontal efforts of the keeping constructions from the seismic influence 2-3 times.

In Kyrgyz Republic up to the present time it is used two varieties seismic protection active systems: sliding belts and connected up links.

The majority of the populated territory of Kyrgyz Republic has the calculated seismicity 9 forces. Proposed project on the use of rubber-metal thin layered bearings for the buildings and constructions is up to date for the regional seismological conditions of Kyrgyz Republic.

To the present time given seismic protection systems have been researeched theoretically, by experiment and numeral methods is defined rigid and strength parameters of the certain bearings. The project participants have the big experience on computer programming, optimization, task modeling, theoretical and experimental researches of the real buildings and constructions on the dynamic influence, in the field of seismic risk, working out normative and methodological documents of Kyrgyz Republic constructing. Participants also have made numeral and experimental researches as well as the using connecting up links and rubber-metal bearings for seismic protection of the buildings and constructions.

It is planned to work out in the project: the calculation program rubber-metal thin bearings, complex programming for the modeling the seismic influence on the buildings and constructions, building calculation program with seismic isolation rubber-metal thin bearings, recommendations on using rubber-metal thin bearings and bearings optimum parameters choice for the chosen types of constructions.

The project is belonged to the categories of applied researches. Scientific research activity is related to the exceptionally to the peaceful field - building and construction seismic protection, and also to protect people lives and decreasing of the possible earthquake hard consequence. The project provides for the scientists and specialists participation of the Moscow Engineer Physical Institute dealt with the armed activity.

The project work capacity is pided to five main objects, that subpided into the stages for program realization:

1. Working out the calculating model rubber-metal thin layered;

2. Working out complex programming for seismic field features modeling influenced on the constructions for the regional conditions of Kyrgyz Republic;

3. Working out the seismic protection optimum parameters determining programs with using the rubber-metal thin layered bearings for the regional conditions;

4. Optimization of the seismic protection parameters with using the with using the rubber-metal thin layered bearings for the regional conditions of Kyrgyz Republic;

5. Working out the practical recommendation for using the with using the rubber-metal thin layered bearings for the regional conditions of Kyrgyz Republic.

In the framework of the proposed project in accordance with the work capacity set by ISTC that international collaborators would work. Collaborators would present commentaries to the technical reports, exchange the information, check work results, take part in program testing, take part in project technical activity inspection, make assistance and support for the project participants, take part in the corresponding publications.

While realizing the work it is used: mathematical models of soil seismic movement; seismic region map, reiteration earthquake centers appearance with indicating the possible earthquake; the latest results of theoretical and experimental researches in the field of seismic firm, buildings and constructions calculation of seismic influence.
