Project summary

Used technologies of utilisation of processing waste of plastics and others sources of ecotoxins are known in metallurgical aggregates. As the basic aggregat blast-furnace is used. Dangerous emissions into atmosphere were not fixed in the process of work in blast-furnase of waste of chemical, machine building and other productions. At the same time blast-furnace is one of the perfect aggregates from the point of view of a high degree of economy of energy.

Temperature in zone of burning of fuel makes 2200-2400 ºC and above; at the same time departing gases leave the furnace with temperature 100-150 ºC. The furnace is a reductive aggregate, whereas in a zone of burning (greatest local volumes in crucible of the furnase) oxidizing atmosphere is supported.

A blast-furnace has volume from 100-150 m3 up to 5500 m3 with daily productivity from 200-300 up to 12-130 thousand tons of pig-iron. A furnace is continuousiy functioning aggregate during up to 20 of years. The oxides of nitrogen, steam of heavy metals, combinations of sulful, monooxid of carbon, rigid particles are not formed and thrown away in a furnase.

At the same time, the realization of works within the frame of the project will be based on the resultes of researches on development and monitoring of the chemical weapon, carried out by groups of scientists and the experts of former USSR. The main part of these researches was directed at the increase of efficiency of the use of the chemical weapon in the military purposes, what has caused specifity of these resultes. Development of technology destruction of items CW demands generalization of obtained data about composition, behaviour of being available objects, methods of the monitoring of their condition and influence on man and environment. For this purpose it is to use both already tested techniques, and new technical approaches developed in adjacent areas, partly in metallurgy.

At the first stage supposed to conduct a theoreticai and experimental research of physical and chemical processes which are flowing in the process of destruction of products in a high-temperature zone of a blast-furnace, onstruction of physical and mathematical model of process, realization numerical modeling, preparation of the practical recommendations.

This purpose it demands to conduct the large volume of works with the use of computer facilities, creation special experimental basis, new installations, improvement of receptions of the circulation with items, their classification and preparation of items - simulators.

The next stage is a realization of perse experiments, research of the mechanism of degradation of items CW as an example of simulators, influence of blast materials and modes of process on efficiency of utilization CW, study of distribution physiologically active substances between a gas phase and final products of process. The results of experiments are used for adjustment modes of process.

On the third, final stage the modal full-scaie experiments on destruction CW, determination of influence of process on an enveronments, processing of results experiments both preparation of the recomendations and technical documentation for industrial use of results of the project are to be provided. The search of further perspectives of the development of this type of researchhes will be conducted in case of need.

The process is based on thermochemical decomposition neutralized substance. For the analysis of the phenomena, happenins in process bringing of poisoning substances /PS/ in high-temperature zone the software package for account thermodynamic equilibrium condition is used.

Structure known PS includes the following elements, characteristic of organic compound: C, O, Si, S, P, As, F, H, N. The envelope of an item including toxin, contains such inorganic elements as Fe, Ni, Mn and ets. metals. The account shows that in conditions of a zone of tueres the fuii decomposition of organic compound and transition them in a gas phase as with CO, CO2, O2, P2O5 and others volatile oxides happens. The metalls partly are restored, partly pass in slag.

Forming PS Cl, F, S, As, P contain already in a blend blast smelting in total amount exceeding their contents in supertoxin /at the rate of 20 kgs PS on 1 ton of pig-iron/.

At decomposition PS their concentration in emissions is increased no more, than on 1 % of a background, that does not represent danger for environment.

Prognosing increase of their contents in emissions of connections PS nor exceeds of the specified size; so increase contain dioxines will by predicted on 0,1%.

Change of the contents of impurity, getting from supertoxin in pig-iron, to identification does not give in /10%/.

The project includes realization of calculation and theoretical, experimental experimental - design elaborations with simultaneous recommendations conserning the normative basis of the process.

The project is finished by sistematization obtained theoretical and experimental data as a technique of new process neutralizations supertoxins and realization of full-scale experiment.

The realization of the project will allow: 1. To receive an effective industrial technique of destruction PS on already beging available industrial squares. 2. To save significant means with the help of refusal of Constructions of special factories. 3. To solve a problem of employment The experts working earlier on defensive subjects. 4. To solve problem of employment of the population in regions have blast-furnace. 5. To use the developed technology for neutralization of toxins of a civil origin. 6. To begin to regular, in industrial scale, destruction PS with deriving of the investments from the appropriate international organizations.

The support of the project by the foreigh collaborators who agreed to grant the rescarches according to the theme of the project with the help of equipment and working resorerges is of great importance.
