Statement of a problem. As a result of hydrological regime of Semirechie river disturbance, basic changes in ecosystems functioning structure have occurred there, and their resource potential considerably lowered. At present there are many discordant data on the Near-Balkhash region. Potentially nobody doubts the fact that these terrains are subject to ecological, economical and social crisis. As indicators of bio-sphere state have been taken observed values which determine the ecosystem balance. Ecosystems as a biosphere part are extremely responsive to external influencing, especially to such intensive as anthropogenic one on its concrete components and which one always leads to rearrangement of structure and quantitative characteristics. The most essential influencing the anthropogenic activity renders into equilibrium state of ecosystem by the way depositings of exuberant quantities of chemical and biological agents of the control of the ecosystem target components. It doubtlessly renders direct or indirect effect and on useful components of the fauna as well. In this case the definition of a degree of usefulness or harmfulness of effect is difficult. The foreign and domestic experience demonstrates that many elements of remote ecological monitoring are intensively elaborated now. In the light of the set up problems the base complex of Near-Balkhash ecosystems monitoring which is organized of urgency and realization is characterized by the following formulation.
The purpose of the project. - Organization of the problem-oriented system of monitoring in the Balkash basin for the science - information supply of the program of ecological normalization of Kazakhstan’s Balkhash. Elaboration of remote monitoring methods for estimations of states of natural and agricultural lands and degree of accumulation of pesticides in different natural components. Mapping of Balkhash basin region and detecting areas with a disturbed equilibrium state for basic ecosystems.
The available groundwork. There is catalogue of codes of reflection spectra of different objects of land-cover, we have an experience of objective analysis of energy-mass-transfer, GIS-heat balance, which has been drawn up on the basis of experimental data for identification data of aerospace shootings and methodology of structure determination of heat balance of vast inhomogeneous terrains, founded on combination of hydrodynamic model of transformation of air-flow above an operating nature-territorial complex with the statistical description of a spatial pattern of nature-territorial complex obtained on space snapshots. The executors of the project have a wide experience of realization experimental and fieldworks.
The basic methods. The aerospace, experimental contact and contactless methods of investigations, methods of mathematical processing of data will be used. We have got original methodical approaches for determination of main ecosystem parameters protected by the copyright certificates.
Work content. Fieldworks in basic points – aero- and contact shoofing; experimental works on definition of factors of light brightness, radiobrightness temperature of different objects of landcover; decoding; interpretation; an estimation of a degree of pesticide contamination of ecosystems and its influence on a biota.
The main anticipated results:
1. The fundamentals of a problem-oriented system of monitoring in the Balkhash basin for the scientific - information supply of the program of ecological normalisation of Kazakhstan’s Near-Balkhash territory will be elaborated.
2. The level and anthropogenic loads dynamics will be determined; chemical contamination of modelling populations in water and ground systems with an account of their interactions will be estimated.
3. The prognosis of biopersification change under strengthening of degradation of near-water ecosystems will be carried out
